- Description
- The 341st Contracting Squadron, Malmstrom AFB, MT, intends to release a solicitation for packing, crating, and local drayage services for Cascade County, Montana. The Government anticipates soliciting for the award of a one, two, or three, Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract(s) for one, two or all three schedules of the solicitation. The anticipated award(s) will be 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488991, and the size standard is $23.5 million. Contractor tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: to pack and containerize Department of Defense (DoD) civilian and military members, Outbound (Schedule I), and Inbound (Schedule II) personal property, and to provide complete inter-county move services (Schedule III) in Cascade County, Montana, and within 100 mile radius of Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT. With the exclusion of government property, the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the preparation of personal property of DoD personnel for shipment and/or temporary storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) as defined in the Statement of Work. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base period beginning 1 January 2007 through 31 December 2007, and four individual option years beginning 1 January 2008-31 December 2011. However, there is no guarantee the option years will be exercised. The Government anticipates releasing the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 10 October 2006. The anticipated award date is 4 December 2006, for performance beginning 1 January 2007, subject to the availability of funds.
