- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex, Pa, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to Windstream Communications, Inc., 4001 Rodney Parham, Little Rock, AR 72212-2442. This requirement is for the acquisition of local basic phone service for the period of 10/01/2006 thru 09/30/2007. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met by local phone service provided by Windstream Communications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitaion document is available. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for Windstream Communications, Inc. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. . Closing date is October 23, 2006 at 12:00.
