- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman of Reston, VA for information technology support services the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNET) and for the Department of Defense Resources Requirements Data Base (DODRBD) for the Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Washington, DC. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced contract. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Northrop Grumman, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Northrop Grumman is the only contractor who has current knowledge of the NAVFAC DODRDB data requirements, the associated business process, DODRDB data sources and the associated system environment. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 561621. See Numbered Note 22.
