- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The combined synopsis/solitication number is W91ZLK-07-T-0014. This solicitation is a Total Small business Set Aside. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-07. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541710 and Small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to aw ard a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland for the following items: CLIN 0001 - Antenna/Pedestal: Model HD40 dual-axis antenna/pedestal configured with planocentric-drive gearboxes (azimuth & elevation), brushless DC drive motors, azimuth and elevation data packages, servo amplifier/power supply assembly, cable wrap, plumb ing for dry air pressurization of the pedestal and feed, and thermostatically controlled pedestal heater assembly. Qty 1 EA. CLIN 0002 - Antenna Control Unit: Model P500 antenna control unit with multi-wire control cable interface and includes: touch screen front panel, PC-104 Architecture, RS-232 Interface, ethernet interface, front panel mounted handwheels, rack slides, window s 2000 operating system. Qty 1 EA. CLIN 0003 - System Cable Set: One (1) 100-foot multi-wire control cable for ACU/Antenna Pedestal interface, One (1) 100-foot pedestal power cable. CLIN 0004 - Factory Acceptance Testing: Two-day factory acceptance testing - Acceptance testing performed by project engineer, acceptance testing performed at contractor's facility. Qty - 1 lot CLIN 0005 - Documentation: monthly progress reports, factory acceptance test procedure, operation & maintenance manual (3 copies), system drawing package (3 copies) CLIN 0006 - Warranty: 1 year factory warranty. CLIN 0007 - Packing and Crating - packaging and crating per best commercial practices. Qty - 1 lot. CLIN 0008 - Tandem-Wheel Trailer: 10-ft Ruggedized Tandem Wheel Trailer, which includes: tandem axle design, ruggedized tires (qty-4), spare tire, leveling jacks (qty-4), tail lights, running lights, safety brake system (including cable, switch, and batter y), safety chains. The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determination as to equality of the product and shall be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for lo cating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation. To ensure sufficient information is available, vendors are request to provide descriptive material such as illustrations, drawings, or other information necessary for the Govern ment to determine whether the product meets the salient characteristics of the requirement. The Government will award a contract to the offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other fact ors considered.
