- The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Equal Opportunity intends to award a Sole Source contract to Henaac Inc, 3900 Whiteside Street, Los Angeles, CA. The purposed contract action is for sponsorship support services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for DoD to increase its minority outreach efforts through visibility at the Hispanic Engineer Recruitment Conference. No solicitation will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. Award is anticpated on or before 13 October 2006. Interested firms may email capability statements to the attention of Nadine Payne at: nadine.payne@whs.mil. Capability statements must be received within 10 days from publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
