Description
The Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA) is seeking for planning purposes only, potential sources from the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) 70, SIN 132-51, Information Technology Services, who can provide a Service Desk Solution, including the following services: 1) An Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-compliant set of standard operating procedures for incident management, change management, configuration management and service level agreement management that are based on the EOP?s needs and requirements. 2) Installation and set up of Service Center Solution software on server hardware purchased by the implementer in accordance with the specifications provided by EOP. 3) Configure the software for FIPS compliance and adherence to EOP?s Information Security policies. 4) Discover configuration items and populate a configuration items database for use by Service Center. 5) Transfer of the above assets to EOP, including all media, licenses and warranties. 6) Training at the EOP of up to 75 staff, broken down by user classes, for operation and management of the Service Center software. Implementers must meet the following specific requirements: 1) Provide ITIL-certified contractors to implement the solution. 2) Track record of Service Center implementations, particularly to federal and state government agencies. 3) Prefer contractors with TS clearances. 4) Must be available to start work in late-December to early-January timeframe. Sources that can provide the above services should provide a capability statement, limited to 15 pages or less, containing the following information: 1. A cover letter that includes the company name, and points of contact with a telephone numbers and email addresses. 2. A brief description of the company?s technical capabilities to support the requirements above. 3. A brief description of the company?s experience with similar projects including a brief summary of the work, dollar value, type of contract (i.e., fixed price), performance of period, agency to whom it was performed, and points of contact with telephone numbers and email addresses. 4. Identification of company business size (i.e., large, small, 8(a), SDVOSB, Hubzone etc.) and DUNS number. 5. The General Services Administration, Federal Supply Schedule Number. All information should be emailed to dtruesdel@oa.eop.gov not later than October 12, 2006 at 4:00 PM eastern time. This notice is issued as part of EOP?s market research to identify potential sources with relevant experience and capabilities. This request is being issued for information and planning purposes only and does not commit EOP to issue a solicitation, award a contract, or pay any cost incurred related to submission of information or related marketing meetings. OA reserves the right to hold market research meetings, if necessary, with some, but not necessarily, all sources responding to this notice. This notice is the only information provided. Any requests for additional information will not be honored.
