Description
The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking a Program Analyst (Travel Coordinator) for its Washington, D.C.-based technical assistance program for countries throughout the world. The Travel Coordinator provides a wide range of operations management, travel support and administrative services to U.S. government contract advisors. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract. The Office of Technical Assistance provides technical assistance in 30 countries in five functional areas; enforcement, government debt management and issuance, budget policy, financial institution policy and tax policy. The Program Analyst (Travel Coordinator) provides a full range of travel and administrative support services to U.S. government and contract advisors and dependents traveling in connection with the technical assistance program. The Travel Coordinator receives and confirms requests for travel; develops computerized travel authorizations, budgets for travel, transportation of effects and miscellany; and provides for hotel accommodations, interpreting, translating and other miscellaneous services. The Coordinator will also obtain passports, visas and letters of invitation for travelers. This position requires five to seven years of public or private sector work experience, expert knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations, U.S. Government regulations, knowledge of GovTrip travel regulations, excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills. US citizenship is required. SALARY: In accordance with program regulations and based on demonstrated salary history, starting salaries are negotiable from $$65,048 to $84,559.
