- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Seal Beach intends to acquire on a sole source basis, from Iotech, Inc, Cleveland, OH the OEM. The agency need of, Ethernet Interface P/N: WBK25 (12ea); Ethernet Interface P/N: WBK512A (4ea); Rack Mount Kit P/N: RACKDBK3 (2ea). These parts are unique and critical components in the chain of systems necessary for communication with various training ranges. FOB Origin to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona, CA. Oral Solicitation N00244-07-T-0015 will be utilized in accordance with SAP procedures for this non-competitive procurement. Anticipated award date on or before 12 October 2006. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 4 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be received no later than 12:00 P.M., local time 11 October 2006 and will be accepted via fax 562-626-7275 or via e-mail deborah.reid@navy.mil
