Description
This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quote number is N62645-06-T-0209. Proposals are due not later than 4:30 P.M. EST on October 12, 2006. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13 are incorporated. NAICS 423450. Small Business size standard is 100 employees. This opportunity is set aside for small businesses only; qualified small business vendors are encouraged to submit a proposal. Characteristics: The requirement is for: CLIN 0001, TBS TFM-5 Tissue Freezing Medium; CLIN 0002, Thermo Electro Biopsy Bags- PN 6774010; CLIN 0003, 75x25mm Color Mark Slides- PN CM4951W; and CLIN 0004, Microscope Slide Cabinets- PN 48466-500. There should be twelve (12) 4 oz bottles per case of the tissue freezing medium and 1000 biopsy bags per pack. Naval Medical Center San Diego needs 4 cases of the Tissue Freezing Medium, 12 packs of biopsy bags, 80 cases of color mark slides, and 40 microscope slide cabinets.
