Description
This Federal Business Opportunity Announcement is notice that Tri-Service Regional Business Office (TRBO) Regions 6, 7 & 8 which includes 46 Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming are initiating the standardization process for the product line of ADVANCED WOUND CARE with SKIN CARE PRODUCTS. The intent of this standardization is to establish regionally preferred sources for hospital supply items and to standardize purchasing of these products for the MTFs. Clinical Product Team (CPTs), composed of healthcare workers who have expertise and knowledge of the products, will evaluate thi s product line. They will review and technically evaluate the products submitted. Their recommendation can be accomplished by literature review, presentation, demonstration, or clinical evaluation. Suppliers may be required to provide clinical samples at no cost to the government for the evaluation. Review the DMMonline website @ https: //dmmonline.dscp.dla.mil/standardization to learn more about the Regional Standardization Program. Vendors interested in having their products evaluated for possible inclu sion in the standardization process should carefully review the stated requirements below. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS for ADVANCED WOUND CARE with SKIN CARE PRODUCTS include, but are not limited to: 1. Alginate Dressings, 2. Polyurethane Foam Dressings, 3. Hyd rocolloid Dressings, 4. Hydrofiber Wound Dressings, 5. Transparent Film for Wound Coverings, 6. Skin Barrier, 7. Hydrogel, 8. Hydrogel Sheets, 9. Borderless Dressings, 10. Compression Dressings, 11. Retention Dressings, 12. Island Dressings, 13. Elastic Un na Boots, 14. Antifungal Preparations. If your company currently holds a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) for the Medical-Surgical product line of ADVANCED WOUND CARE with SKIN CARE PRODUCTS your company is eligible to participate in the standard ization effort for this region. If your company is not a current DAPA holder for this product line, you may still be eligible to participate in this standardization effort for this region by contacting the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Ms. Kim Nichols at (215) 737-7124 or e-mail (Kim.Nichols@dla.mil) to apply for a DAPA. Your company will be considered once DAPA paperwork is pending at DSCP and you provide your DSCP log number to Sarah L. Allen at (210) 916-6348 or email: sarah.allen@amedd.army .mil. If your company can provide ADVANCED WOUND CARE with SKIN CARE PRODUCTS, please forward literature of all items available from your company that meet the product descriptions above and any corresponding product literature no later than October 27, 2 006. Those companies that do not reply by this date may be eliminated from consideration. Please include a cover letter identifying your company POC for questions regarding your product as well as your company name, address, pho ne/fax number and applicable DAPA number(s) for this product line.
