- Requirements-Type contract for Maintenance Support on Semi Tractors, Trailers, Generators, and HVAC Units for the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 1 November 2006 through 31 October 2007, with two one-year o ption periods. Services include preventive, predictive, and remedial maintenance, emergency roadside service, and recovery/towing services. Maintenance services to be performed at the contractors facility which shall be located within 100 miles of Fort Knox, KY and shall be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Fort Knox Directorate of Contracting (DOC) website at http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 11 October with quotes due on or about 25 October. These dates are estimated and are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to the DOC website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled. Quotes will be accepted by fax, mail, or email; instructions will be provided in the solicitation.
