- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the refurbishment of actuators and rotary joints on a CARCO 5-Axis Flight Motion Simulator, P/N GO#80666/89012 with the following specifications: (1) Remove and replace O-rings and seals on all actuators with the exception of the roll axis, four axes total; (2) Estimate will include all labor, travel time, accommodations, transportation and per diem in an itemized fashion; (3) The work must be completed with little or no movement of the inner arm axis. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and a Small Business set-aside for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F1T0EB6278A999. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333319, with a small business size standard of 500. Please identify/confirm your business size in your response based upon this standard. Delivery is FOB Destination. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-10, Fac 2005-12, Effective 04 Aug 2006 & Class Deviation 2005-0001. Vendors MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) before an award can be made. The quote format is at the discretion of the offeror.
