- This is to announce that the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Network 22 Logistics Office intends to award a Sole Source contract for a Capitated Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Escondido, CA with the existing Contractor, CRAssociates, Inc. The contractor will continue to provide for the continuous delivery and management of primary care services for all assigned VA patients for the period of a Base Year, plus two(2) one (1) year renewal option years contingent upon the opening our new Clinic that will replace the existing CBOC. It is the VA's intention to continue services to our veterans without any break in service. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Government under Sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.301.1.
