- Description
- The Contractor shall provide mammography screening services which include breast imaging, breast sonography, pre-biopsy needle localization of non-palpable lesions, guided fine-needle aspiration biopsies, aspiration of non-palpable cysts and other related diagnostic, guidance, and interventional exams as listed in the Fee Schedule. The contractor will perform the requirements of this contract at the contractor's facility (i.e., administering, reading of mammograms and performing interventional procedures). The contractor will furnish a board certified specialty trained radiologist(s) to perform a variety of screening, diagnostic, and interventional mammography procedures such as, aspirations, wire localization, needle localization and stereo tactic biopsies at the contractor's facility. The contractor will provide these services with state of the art equipment, qualified medical and technical staff. The quality, availability of procedures, and related medical care of VA patients will be no less than that provided non-VA patients.
