Description
The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide resources to assist the Eastern Terminal Service Unit, ETSU and the Potomac TRACON in providing real-time monitoring, tracking and reporting on SUA (Special Use Airspace) and restricted airspace violations. Key personnel shall have previous terminal air traffic control experience, which is a pre-requisite for this job task, however, contractors Will Not be Controlling Traffic. Worked will be performed will be at the Potomac TRACON, Warrenton, VA. Security backgrounD check of contractor personnel is required. This Screening Information Request (SIR), is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concern under NAICS Code 488111 Contract will be awarded as a Time & Material Contract. Period of Performance is a base year, with an estimated start date of November 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007, with 4 Option Years. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
