- Description
- Contractor is responsible for disposal of all construction material and debris. All doors will be primed and painted as outlined in the general specifications and be in compliance with base compatibility standards. Wood doors will be trimmed on both sides to match existing pattern or as agreed upon prior to project being awarded. Doors will comply with applicable NFPA codes for fire ratings. Metal doors will have a minimum fire rating of three hours. Doors must bear the UL label provided from the factory and be visible after installation. Hinges will conform to ANSI/BHMA A156.1 and will be a standard 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" anti-friction bearing unless otherwise specified. Exterior doors must be equipped with weatherstripping. Any projects requiring lead/asbestos abatement will be coordinated through the base asbestos shop. Three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract.
