- Description
- The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, management and supervision for the Repair/Replace/Install Fencing at Andersen AFB and any Air Force Base Property on Guam. The work also, includes repair/replacement and installation of chain link fence, gates and decorative masonry unit fencing. Disposal of removed/demolish chain link fence,gates and decorative masonry unit fencing. Painting of both side faces and visible areas of the entire length of the new masonry unit fence. Back filling of holes resulting from removal of chain link fence posts and concrete footings. This procurement is Restricted to Certified 8(a) Small Business Entities. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 238990 with a Size Standard of $13.0 MIL. Per the SBA, 8(a) firms do not have to have the NAICS Code 238990 approved by the SBA for use in their business plans. Competition will be limited to 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) Program who are serviced by the SBA Hawaii District Office (HDO). Also if the 8(a) firm has a bona fide place of business (as defined by SBA) within the geographic area served by the HDO, they are also eligible to submit offers. An 8(a) firm not serviced by the HDO must consult its servicing District Office regarding the establishment of a bona fide place of business or status of a previously established bona fide place of business. The minimum guarantee is $100,000.00 for the life of the contract. The contract, when awarded is for a Base Year and Four Option Years of 12 months each. The contract type contemplated for this requirement is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)/Firm-Fixed Price contract. Contract award would be based on Best Value using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures. Solicitation issuance is tentatively scheduled for 31 July 06. Pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 14 Aug 06. Proposal due date is tentatively set for 31 Aug 06. Interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be awarded any Federal contracts. All interested eligible 8(a) parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Prospective contractors are responsible to visit the site periodically for any changes/updates to the solicitation that may occur, as no paper copies would be issued.
