Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office anticipates contracting with Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, One Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks CT 06096-1010 for MH-60 Automatic Flight Control Computers (Part Number 812450-4-003). The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336412; the business size is 1000 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 30 Oct 2006. You may request a copy, via email from awatson@tapo.eustis.army.mil. Foreign firms must request a copy through their embassy. This is considered a commercial purchase IAW FAR Part 12. Numbered Note 22 is applicable.
