- NAICS Code 236220. Work includes, but is not limited to: install approximately 890 square feet of new drywall partitions; install approximately 248 lineal feet of 4" high vinyl wall base to match existing; paint approximately 2,480 square feet of drywall partition; install four (4) new wood doors with metal doorframes, one (1) new glass door and aluminum frame; install fourteen (14) new duplex floor outlets, five (5) new floor mounted data/phone outlets, one (1) new floor mounted electrical outlet; install one (1) new sprinkler head; remove and install approximately 1000 square feet of carpet tiles; install two (2) new light switches and separate light fixtures in each individual office. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued October 16, 2006, with offers due on November 7, 2006. Anticipated award date is November 14, 2006. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. In addition, the subject drawings for this solicitation cannot be posted electronically. Requests for drawings must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer as previously instructed. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
