- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA proposes to re-compete the procurement of 280 electrical output pressure transducers. The previous procurement attempt (Solicitation Number N65540-06-R-0006) was cancelled due to the lack of small businesses able to produce the desired end product. The procurement will consist of one hundred and forty (140) 300-PSI (PGT-GP-300-G2) transducers and one hundred and forty (140) 600-PSI (PGT-GP-600-G2) transducers. The transducer equipment shall be designed to convert a fluid pressure to a continuous linear proportional analog electrical dc signal. Transducer equipment shall be in accordance with the requirements of MIL-P-24423. To be considered for this contract, eligible companies must be on the qualified products list (QPL). Solicitation will be available to download from FEDBIZZOPPS or NECO.Navy.mil on or after October 18, 2006. The solicitation package will be available electronically ? no hard copies will be sent.
