- This proposed procurement is Unrestricted, NAICS is 238990, small business size standard $13,000,000.00. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion of work required by no later than 93 calendar days. Removal and disposal of lime sediment form a 30 million gallon potable water, underground concrete structure at a water treatment plant using mechanical dewatering equipment; structure is a confined space with height varying from 30 to 50; lime sediment will be pumped by contractor supplied and operated pumps to a contractor supplied and operated dewatering plant; disposal of dewatered lime at a contractor selected, government approved site. Large Business Firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The Small Business subcontracting goal for this procurement is 65% of the total subcontracting dollar value. Of that 65%, 20% should be placed with Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 10% with Women Owned Small Businesses, 3% with HUB Zone Businesses, 3% with Vet eran Owned Small Businesses and 3% with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be t he internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) - a one-time registration process is required for vendors/contractors.
