- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 using simplified acquisition with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This solicitation is a Request For Quotation (RFQ), W15P7T-06-Q-D455. This solicitation documents and incorp orates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-11 and DFARS change Notice 20060616. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addressed: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 333912 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This procurement is for a quantity of up to 352 Air Assembly Compressors (NSN 4310-01-486-7691), used on the electronic maintenance vans to operate air-powered tools and to blow dust and sand from communication, electronic, navigation, photographic, and infrared equipment. Compressors are in accordance with Performance Specification Requirements and Statement of Work for Final Inspection and Test, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Items. The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE-CLMC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Contract with options up to 300% w hich may be exercised any time over a 2 year. The proposed action is Small Business Set-Aside. Inspection/Acceptance Source (contractor facility). Shipments are to be FOB Destination. All items are to be shipped to: W15G1U/SU Transportation Officer DDSP New Cumberland Facility 2001 Mission Drive Door 113-134 New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 Delivery shall be 30 each 60 days after effective date of contract award. Thereafter 60 each 90 days after effective date of contract award and 100 each month until completion.
