- The U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOMAC) Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD has a requirement for Subject Matter Expertise in system engineering and technical support for Project Manager Soldier Warrior (PM S WAR) and its supporting organizations: Product Manager Land Warrior, and Product Manager Future Warrior,to support PM SWAR Offices within Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, in the development of the Soldier System of the 21st Century. PM-SWAR is locat ed at Ft. Belvoir, Va. The Soldier System includes everything for the individual soldier, whether performing in a mounted, dismounted, aircrew, or special operations role, his personal equipment, and his integration into an overall Command, Control, Commu nications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) architecture. PM Soldier Warrior is responsible for serving the needs of the individual soldier by: Managing the development, configuration, and fielding of specific fully integrated soldier systems; Managing the Congressionally established Soldier Enhancement Program (SEP), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDTE) and fielding; Maintaining full life cycle responsibility for the Clothing and Individual Equipment program; and, Integrating all non-system individual items developed by various Program Executive Officers/Project Managers and RDECs into an effective balanced system. The contractor shall provide comprehensive and wide ranging Subject Matter Expert Support. Specific requirements wil be outlined in the solicitation. Performance of these requirements may, in some instances, require the contractor to be present at the pl ace of duty beyond the normal eight-hour workday. This requirement will be publicized in the FedBizOps.
