Description

NETWORK SUPPORT - In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamlined Competition for IT End User Support and Technical Writer Services. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Mr. Joe Ellis, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officer is Mr. Larry Manning. The Human Resource Advisor is Ms. Lynne Kartsaklis. The projected end of the competition is February 9, 2007. The functions at the NIH to be studied include but are not limited to: network design, security, implementation, and operations. These services are currently provided by 41 Federal Government employees. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about February 14, 2007. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
