Description

Description This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Tucson, Arizona is issuing Request for Quotation, RFQ 61503-016-06. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, 05-09. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business with NAICS code 441229 and size standard of $6.5 million. There is a total of 6 items on this RFQ and they are as follows. Item #1. Total of 2 Ea. Delivery to be FOB Destination, with required delivery date of August 11, 2006. Delivery will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex, 9300 S. Wilmot Rd., Tucson, AZ 85706. The provision 52.212-1, instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision, 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation and the award will be based on 75% price and 25% warranty. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition, as well as clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offers will be due on July 28, 2006.
