Description
A sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is proposed with The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Columbus, Ohio. This procurement is for an annual requirement to register US Army EMTs in the areas of: Paramedic Registration (EMT-P), Paramedic Re-Registration, Basic (EMT-B) Registration, Basic Re-registration, EMT-Intermediate Re-Registration and Paramedic Reinstatement. The period of performance for this requirement shall be for a base year commencing 1 November 2006 through 31 October 2007 and four (4) options for the periods of 1 November 2007 through 31 October 2008, 1 November 2008 through 31 October 2009, 1 November 2009 through 31 October 2010 and 1 November 2010 through 31 October 2011. Other than full and open competition is based on FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists. Responses must be in writing, including per-student registration prices and information sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement and must be received by this office withing 10 calendar days of publication of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within that time, to determine comparable sources more advantageous to the U.S. Government are available, a contract will be awarded to The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response; however, if issuance of a synopsis/solicitation is determined to be appropriate, you will be notified of its publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due no later than 10 October 2006 at 2:00 PM EST. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Valaida J. Bradford at bradforv@soc.mil. The NAICS is 621999 (SIC 8099).
