- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for 4-way, 3 phase, stainless steel, gas insulated high voltage switches. The manufacturer is Cooper Power Systems. The quantity is two each. The part numbers are KPSVF1232 and KPSRV1031. This is a brand name acquisition. Substitutes are not acceptable. Delivery will be to Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance/expected delivery date is 30 days after receipt of an award. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-06-T-0491 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5063, business size of 100 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423610.
