- 28-Repair, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-06-R-0613, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/CBSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Solicitation for the repair of 100 NSN 2840-01-443-4069, Combustion Chamber Liner Assy, and Part Number: 4083170. Award will be made only if the offeror meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer or any other third party. For qualification information/source approval request contract OC-ALC/BC (405) 739-7244. Form/Fit/Function: The CC Liner encloses the combustion area and protects the augmentor duct from high gas temperatures. Material: Combustion Chamber Liner-Cobalt Based Alloy. Dimensions: Length: Approximately 60 3/4 inches Width: Approximately 41 inches Depth: Approximately 41 inches Weight 85 pounds. Destination: Tinker AFB OK, Delivery: 45 days after receipt of order and reparable. The approximate solicitation issue date will be October 16, 2006. The anticipated award date will be 30 November 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Smiths Aerospace Components-Manchester, Manchester CT. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
