- Description
- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized / forfeited vehicles in the District of Eastern Arkansas. The vehicles will include production-seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of one year. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation No. RFQ-001 will be issued on or before November 1, 2006. The estimated response date will be November 30, 2006. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOpps web site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
