- Description
- A separate sole source justification addressing the courses will be issued in the future, to which responses independent of those related to membership will be entertained. This is not a request for quotations or proposals. The Department of Homeland Security intends to make a sole source award in accordance with FAR Parts 6, 12 & 13 to the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International of Alexandria, Virginia for agency/institutional membership under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.? Membership will provide a cost-savings for courses to be taken by employees. DHS has determined that only ASIS provides courses that meet DHS needs, and ASIS institutional membership will provide the agency with a cost savings for these courses. If your company believes it is capable of fulfilling this requirement, please submit descriptive literature, fully documenting your capabilities, within one calendar day from the date this notice is posted. Your capability information may also be considered for future procurements. A determination to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and sent via e-mail to leah.wilson@hq.dhs.gov. Phone calls will not be accepted. If no responses are received, award will be made by September 30, 2006.
