- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source procurement to a company that has technicians authorized by General Electric to perform maintenance on General Electric turbines, to provide turbine overhaul services at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. This requirement consists of performing required complete overhaul on an existing General Electric manufactured turbine. This maintenance is required every five years or 50,000 hours of operation. This purchase will be completed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will use other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 25 Sep 06. This notice is not a request for offerors. A determination not to compete this procurement, based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
