- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to “Construct School Age Program (SAP) Facility and Add/Alter Youth Center”, Bldg 6006 and 6000 respectively, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. This is a Firm-Fixed price contract. Project includes, but is not limited to the following work elements necessary to construct projects FBNV 06-4003 Entitled: “Construct School Age Program (SAP) Facility”, and FBNV 06-4004 Entitled: “Add/Alter Youth Center.” The work is described as follows: Construct and renovate aforementioned facilities IAW the request for proposal and Statement of Work. This solicitation is unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 236220. The Request for Proposal will be evaluated using Past Performance Trade Off evaluation procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. There are experience and qualification requirements for this project that will be outlined in the solicitation documents. The solicitation may be issued electronically on or about 1 Aug 06 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 30 Aug 06. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. The following viewers may be required to view the complete solicitation: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or.exe), and AutoCAD. For more information concerning these viewers, refer to the EPS website. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit is tentatively schedule for 10 Aug 06 at 2:00 pm local time in the 355th Contracting office conference room.
