Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), P.O. Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06615-9129, on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) CLINS, for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) services in support of the MH-60M aircraft for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for engineering support services on the MH-60M aircraft qualification for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 14 November 2006. The period of performance shall be twelve (12) months from the date of award, with options to renew for four additional years of twelve (12) months each. See Note 22 and 26.
