- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for non-personal services, for a field service representative, to support Mission Enhanced LittleBird (MELB) unique components at Ft. Campbell, KY. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to award a three year contract (base period plus two, one-year options) with McDonnell Douglas Helicopters Company (MDHC), a subsidiary of Boeing, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85215 on a sole source basis for this effort. MDHC owns all proprietary data and rights to MELB unique components installed on A/MH-6M aircraft, and there are no other known sources that can provide this support. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541990; the business size is $6,500,000.00. This requirement is rated DO-A1. The estimated delivery date of the services is December 2006..
