- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) solicits proposals for competition under BAA HM1582-07-BAA-0001 for research in Advancing the Automation of Image Analysis (AAIA). It consists of four parts, an "Advanced Dimension Reduction and Categorization" (ADRC) Initiative, the "Hyperspectral Demixing and Self Organization of Mixed Signals" (HDSO) Initiative, "Geometric-based Partial Differential Equations (GPDE) Methods for Object/Target Identification and Characterization" Initiative, and a "Nonlinear Dynamical Methods (NDM) for Advanced Detection, Categorization, and Tracking of Objects using Multiband Data" Inititiative. The Basic and Applied Research Office of the NGA InnoVision Directorate has a continued need for new approaches to the AAIA Problem. A Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) will be available on the NGA web site at www.nga.mil on or about 11 October 2006 (click on Business Opportunities). All responsible sources capable of providing innovative proposals in Advancing the Automation of Image Analysis (AAIA) may submit a proposal for consideration. Proposals will be submitted to the address stated in the BAA on or before 3:00 p.m., local time, Chantilly, VA, on 15 November 2006. NGA expects to award multiple procurement contracts. Award of these contracts is Subject to the Availability of Funds. Grants, cooperative agreements, and/or other forms of assistance will not be awarded.
