- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYCOM) intends to contract for RDT&E order(s) under an existing Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) for engineering services in support of the H-1 Helicopter program to include the UH-1N/AH-1W and UH-1Y/AH-1Z aircraft for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The requirement consists of engineering studies and investigations related to aircraft performance, structural demonstration, performance improvement, configuration, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) requirements, and performance capabilities. Additionally, the orders will include design, manufacture, assembly, associated data and test of components and/or prototype hardware or software resulting from the engineering studies and investigations. Orders for the Services willbe for a period of 3 years. NAVAIRSYCOM intends to procure these services from BHTI, the sole manufacturer of the H-1 Aircraft, under an existing Basic Order Agreement with BHTI, Fort Worth, TX. See Note No. 22.
