- Pope AFB intends to solicit and award a large small business sole source to Litton Systems INC, DBA Laser Systems for repair of several Mark VII Laser Range Finder. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is FAR Part 6.302-1; Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1). The applicable NAICS code is 811219 with the size standard of 6.5 million dollars. Any interested parties, other than Litton Systems INC, that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capabilities to satisfy the requirement no later than two(2) days after the post date of this announcement. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database. This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement.
