Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under FAR 13.5. Based upon the Business Intelligence product evaluation conducted by the USDA-ARS, the Government has determined that Applix, Inc. is the only vendor that has the capability to meet two specific Government requirements: the ability to perform on the fly trend analysis and the ability to deliver the product via an interactive Excel interface. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Applix, Inc., located at 289 Turnpike Road, Westborough, MA 01581, to purchase the following items: 1) Applix TM1 Server Package ? TM1 OLAP Engine with Excel interface, including Turbo Integrator. TM1 Web Server and one (1) Perspective/Architect License. 2) Applix TM1 Development/Test Server Package - Additional TM1 Server for testing and developing only, includes: Turbo Integrator, TM1 Web Server and one (1) Perspective/Architect License. 3) Applix TM1 Read/Write Concurrent License Ports - Windows and Web Client access to TM1. (15 licenses) 4) Additional Perspective/Architect License (3 licenses) 5) Annual Maintenance and Support - Toll Free Hotline 8:00AM through 8:00PM EST, Monday through Friday. Support via phone, web, e-mail, and fax. Produce upgrades/Maintenance Releases. Have two designated callers.
