- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) under requirement from the operating forces will procure an Arabic language version of Virtual Battlespace (VBS) to be used by deployed US personnel in the training of Coalition Forces as part of their Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) mission. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Bohemia Interactive Australia Pty Ltd 262 Gan Gan Road Anna Bay NSW 2316 Australia in the amount of $30,000 for procurement of a VBS suite for deployment. US Forces have been tasked with providing instruction and training to their Coalition partners to make them more proficient and to ensure common understanding and coordination between forces. The primary goal of this effort is to provide a proven training system suitable for use in assisting in training Coalition armed forces in the tactics, techniques and procedures of small unit and convoy operations.
