- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Time and Material and FP type IDIQ contract to Goodrich Control Systems LTD, UK, for systems engineering, technical and management support services for accessories to the Harrier (AV-8B) engine for the Joint Program Office, PMA-257. Goodrich?s accessories for the AV-8B engine are the F402 Gas Turbine Starter (GTS), part numbers CR00303 and CR00305, and legacy engine control systems to include by not limited to: Fuel Metering Units (FMUs), part number 1910MK1; Digital Engine Control Units (DECUs), part number 0503KDC01-404; Inlet Guide Vane Control Units (IGCVUs), part number 1382MK2; and Pilot Lever Angle Unit (PLAU) part number 166MK1. These support services encompasses engineering analysis and recommendations for technical, logistical and total life cycle support for the F402-RR-408A/B Engine Accessories systems. The support will include engineering support, updates to the system specification, the development and manufacturing of upgraded prototypes, and conducting demonstration testing. Required will be the management of updates to configuration control, integrated logistics, systems safety, reliability, maintainability, quality assurance, and other technical data. 18.
