- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for two 20,000 Gal Fuel Tanks. Salient characteristics are: furnish petroleum storage tank system[s] utilizing an aboveground steel tank[s] with 110% secondary contai nment provided by a steel dike. The tanks will be fitted with a metered high volume pump system for tank fill and dispensing with appropriate controls, valves and monitoring devices to provide a safe, environmentally responsible fuel system. Delivery is r equired. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (Fac) 2005-12, Effective 04 Aug 2006. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 33 2420 with a size standard of 500 employees. There is one contract line item (0001)for a quantity of 2. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (ht tp://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the best value; technical, past performance and price proposal. You shall submit commercially available literature on your unit that demonstrates that all of the above capabilities are met.
