Description Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 333120 and a size standard of 750 employees. The proposed purchase listed is a 100% small business set-aside. COMMODITIES PURCHASE: This requirement is for a quantity of one(1) Compact Trencher. Manufacture DITCH WITCH, Model RT40 OR EQUAL. 4-WHEEL DRIVE 40 HORSEPOWER HYDROSTATIC TRACTOR. DIESEL POWERED. TRENCHER CAPABILITIES: 63 INCH MAX TRENCH DEPTH, 6? TO 12? TRENCH WIDTH, APPROX 150 FPM TRENCHING SPEED AT FULL LOAD. INCLUDES 64 INCH BACKFILL BLADE CAPABLE OF LIFTING 12 INCH ABOVE GROUND AND 8 INCHES BELOW GROUND WITH A 28 DEGREE SWING ANGLE AND 11 DEGREE TILT ANGLE. This item is to be delivered to BASE SUPPLY 7100 SABER ROAD BLDG 1284 F.E. WARREN AFB WY 82005 TEL: 481-2116. In accordance with the Small Business Administrations Non Manufacture Rule Class deviation (dated 21 July 06) for NICAS code 333120, the Non-Manufacture rule is waived for this solicitation. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications.
