Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2006-03-21. NAICS is 334515 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is unrestricted. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (the award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. The 412 TW/ AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential vendors capable of providing the following items that are part of the 2-18GHz Hardware Gating upgrade in support of the antenna pattern and antenna isolation capabilities. These items will be used in the Benefield Anechoic Facility for uninstalled and aircraft installed antenna system testing. With this upgrade, the Electronic Warfare Group will be able to improve antenna measurements by gating out chamber effects, which will reduce setup time and allow testing without teardown of the threat generation carts. REQUIREMENTS: Specs: There must be an on-site acceptance test that must be performed at Edwards AFB CA 93524 on the complete package, and this must be included in your quote.
