Description: The 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis AFB intends to award a contract to Astec Industries Inc. for an Asphalt Plant Junction Box on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302. The purpose of this contract is to replace the existing Asphalt Plant Box supplied by Astec Industries. The notice of this intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The statuatory authority for other than full and open competition is 1 U.S.C. 2304(c)1). A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. This notice closes at 12:00pm PST.
