Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. Funding is currently not available for this project. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F2Q3236201A100 is issued as a Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iv) This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 335999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide all labor, design, tools, equipment, material, and other items and services necessary to provide hands-on vehicle maintenance training aids for Langley AFB, VA. (vi) The products to include but are not limited to: Starting System, Charging System, Lighting System, Instrument Panel, Interval Wiper/Washer, Horn/Alarm, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Seat, Audio Trainer, Delco/Bosch ABS/TCS System, Ford EEC-V System, GM OBD II System, Tractor "Air - Brake" System, Trailer "Air - Brake" System, 3 Axle "Air - Brake" System, and system network. Training aids will be hands-on and include manuals and appropriate software. (vii) Units issued = each. (viii) The system shall be delivered NLT 29 Dec 06 to 1LRS/Vehicle Maintenance, 61 Elm Street, Langley AFB, VA 23665. FOB Destination. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Funding is not currently available for this project. Should funds become available, the Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall be based on Best Value to the Government. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with its offer. The before mentioned provision is included in Attachment I.
