- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is HC1047-06-R-4036. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 effective 04 August 06 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and DFARS Change Notice 20060908. The solicitation incorporates by reference the following clauses: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 Dev, 52.232-17, 52.232-18, 52.232-33, 52.233-3, 52.247-34, and DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.212-7001(dev). Clauses incorporated by full text: FAR 52.252-2 and 52.252-6 and DFARS 252.232-7010. NAICS Code: 423430. This acquisition is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Brand Name Descriptions and a 100% competitive 8(a) Set Aside in accordance with FAR 19.805 for Juniper/Acorn maintenance warranty renewal. Period of performance is 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. Funding is subject to FAR clause 52.232-18 ?Subject to Availability of Funds.? This acquisition is a White House Communications Agency requirement for Juniper/Acorn annual maintenance warranty. There will be one (1) contract line item number (CLIN), 0001 - MAINTENANCE WARRANTY: One year warranty for Serial/Audio Acorns in WAS network; Support shall be provided as described: Unlimited 24 Hours/7 Days a week Technical Support providing a single point of contact for all CTP service. Essential software/hardware upgrades to Network Graphic User Interface (GUI) and Juniper/Acorn Circuit To Packet (CTP) -1004 Boxes for the Very High Frequency (VHF) radio network and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) SATCOM System when they become available for general customer release. Factory repair or replacement of hardware failures (10 day return to customer upon receipt). Please note if the manufacturer requires a license agreement to be signed by the Government, the terms and conditions of that agreement are required to be in compliance with all Federal Laws, Statutes, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Therefore, please modify accordingly and submit with your quote. Offerors must quote on all items for all or none. FOB Destination.
