- Description
- This project consists essentially of modifying one (1) set of existing hangar doors on Hangar 714 to accommodate both the existing C-5 inflatable aperture and a new inflatable seal door aperture for the C-17 aircraft at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. The building is located at 714 4th St, Dover AFB, DE. This solicitation will be a request for proposal and will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The approximate issue date for the solicitation will be 31 Jul 2006 with an approximate response date of 5 Sep 2006. THIS IS CURRENTLY AN UNFUNDED REQUIREMENT, WHICH WILL BE FUNDED BY 17 NOV 2006. PROPOSAL PRICING MUST BE GUARANTEED THROUGH 30 NOV 2006. All firms must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data bank (http://ccr2000.com/). All responsive offerors will be considered by this agency. The performance period is 90 days. The anticipated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The entire solicitation will be made available ONLY on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site at WWW.FBO.GOV. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
