- Description
- This is a notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to McQuay Factory Service, 8055 Penn Randall Place, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. The FBI requires a factory service agreement for the Chillers at one of it?s facilities. Work may not be performed by any company other than the authorized factory representative, McQuay Factory Service, so as not to void the existing warranty. Proper security clearances are required of all employees of the company providing services to allow entrance into the facility. These clearances shall be currently held by each person. Services are being procured under FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Period of performance to be 12 months. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. This Notice of Intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform this effort in writing (electronically) to Debra E. Chapman at dchapman@fbiacademy.edu. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-AUG-2006).
