- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL, (NSWC PC) intends to award a contract to FY-Composites OY, Nosturikatu 7, Nokia, Finland, 37150 on a sole source basis for the design and fabrication of a composite Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) propeller shroud. In addition, limited spare components will be procured to support the shroud during the on-craft test period. This action is being conducted under the LCAC Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) program. The completed shroud will be evaluated under the LCAC FCT program to determine how it performs in use on the LCAC. FY-Composites OY was selected on the basis of their proposal submitted in response to a limited competitive solicitation of qualified foreign sources. Their proposal was determined to be the best value to the government, receiving the highest technical score and offering the lowest cost. Shipment will be FOB destination to, Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 ! Vernon Avenue, Panama City, and Fl 32407-7001.
