Description

DESC: Parts Kit Overhaul, NSN 1005-01-M98-0432, P/N 13010107; Parts Kit Overhaul, NSN 1005-01-M98-0433, P/N 13010108. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Contemplate a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. Requirements are Minimum Guaranteed Quantity of 75 for NSN 1005-01-M98-0432, FY 08=8; FY09=8; FY10=8; FY11=8. Minimum Guaranteed Quantity of 16 for NSN 1005-01-M98-0433, FY08=8; FY09=8; FY10=8; FY11=8. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M240 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 11 October 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date b y accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is i n fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be manu factured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data P ackage (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to provide Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement Forms prior to receiving the TDP. Any said requests should contain the f ollowing information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will then be provided by normal mail.
